To have the perfect navy color, I bought our curtains first to then match the color for our stripes that my husband is painting. Then, my husband used the same color to paint the dresser and I already had gold spray paint to paint the knobs.
Here's the before:

Here's the finished result:
I had to share the cutest drawer so far, our newborn onesie drawer. We received all of these as a gift from our great friends - they have a son that is almost two and we are reaping all of the benefits!
How do you think it turned out? We love it and can't wait to finish the nursery.
Enjoy,
Ellen

Beautiful! The color really highlights the detail, nice job! Love seeing all those onesies ready for Baby B!
ReplyDeleteI thought so too! Brian did a great job. He even built shelves into the tall cabinets on either side.
DeleteAnd, thank you! Of course I am partial to all of the mommy ones...
Gorgeous work you two, the navy is really luxe. I wonder, how did you finish the top of the buffet? And, of course you're partial to the mommy onesies. . . just as you should be. ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Amy! It's just navy on top right now. I haven't organized and purchased the changing table stuff so I didn't want to share yet. Just bare for now.
DeleteI loved the color which is really beautiful as you. The clothes are looking so beautiful as well and made easy to the dresser with clothes.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteIs there any way you can share the paint brand and color mix?
