Holiday & Christmas Home Decor

Next week we will feature our holiday home tours. To get ready, I thought I would grab a few inspirational items to make this year a little different than last year. I would like to get a real tree since I have not had one since I can remember. My mom switched to a fake one when I was in middle school and never went back. I know she didn't like cleaning up the needles, but I love the smell of a live tree in the home. Don't you? I also want to pick up a new wreath and other home decor items. I would like to keep it simple and not too themed to be just Christmas, so they can stay up a little longer. Do you go buy something new every year or use your favorite keepsakes?
