Warming up Home Decor

For each season, I like to do a few things out side of holiday decor to give it a different look based on the time of year. In the spring and summer, I add more flowers, bright colors and lighter material. For fall and winter, I look for soft, bulky texture and darker colors. I find by adding these accents to a room they really add a warm and cozy feeling.

Here are a few things I found to add to my list of wants for this winter season:

Sweater Knit Pillows from West Elm - $39 each

Plaid Throw from West Elm - $55 on special (and you can add a monogram)

Wooden candleholders from CB2 - $19.95 or $29.95 each

Knitted pouf from CB2 - $89.95

Doormat from Garnet Hill - $34 each

Jute rug from World Market - $16.99 to $369.99

Glittered twigs Pottery Barn - $14.95

What are your favorite ways to warm up your home for the winter?

Au revior,
Jamie
