Cinnamon Rolls in a Waffle Iron

Have you ever seen something on pinterest and didn't know if it would work but was dying to try it? That's how I was with the cinnamon rolls in a waffle iron. I thought this would be an easy recipe for the weekend and especially if you have a newborn and only have five minutes to do anything.

I tried it last weekend and we love it! It's my husband's favorite breakfast I have made and he keeps telling everyone about it. Plus, it's super easy.

What you need:
  • Waffle iron
  • Cinnamon rolls in the tube
  • Non-stick cooking spray
How to do it:

Open tube of cinnamon rolls.

Spray the waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray. Place one cinnamon roll in the waffle iron once it's hot. I used jumbo cinnamon rolls so only one fit at a time. If you used smaller ones, I am sure you could put multiples in.

Cook until crispy to your liking. Add icing while it's still warm.

I love this because it's so easy and doesn't take but five minutes while baking the cinnamon rolls take at least 20 minutes. Also, it makes them crispy all around and there is more icing on every piece!

What have you tried off of pinterest that seems so easy but you now love?

Also, follow us on pinterest here.

Enjoy,

Ellen
