On September 25, 2010, I got married to Brian in my small hometown of Sedalia, Missouri. We wanted a traditional, preppy and romantic wedding. We got married at the church and Country Club I grew up in. We were surrounded by thousands of candles and plaid.
Emily of Emmy Ray was our floral designer and afterwards got me in touch with INK Magazine to do a feature on my wedding. We had lots of DIY touches that I didn't even do! Well, I made a just married banner but everything else was done by friends. Delegation can be key or just friend's that do things without you even requesting!
I wanted to share the post with you as you are planning, helping or finishing your own wedding. Here's the link to the original post from INK.
And, here are a few of our wedding pictures with DIY projects. Thanks to our wonderful photographers of Lemon Lime.
